ALL-TIME Winners!

Yes that's right our pink team is all-time champs again (we have only done it once before our very first year we started the team)! It was a really fun year too we had some new players and then of course some of our originals.

This is a picture of the guy telling us that we were the best team he's ever seen, just kidding he was taking our picture for the newspaper and trying to make us do poses that we didn't want to, I'm kidding again but he would have if he could have, am I right girls.

We ended up playing a team that we beat out the first round so we new we could beat them. We lost the first game that lasted 8 innings and they ended up walking there winning run in which was so annoying (they walked a lot). But since we were in the winners bracket they had to beat us twice so the second game we kinda dominated from right off and then Melissa made our winning catch with her eyes closed and a cute cheerleader hop right after. They were fun games though and there is no doubt that everyone had fun this year!
Some fun times this year....
-When I struck out and I was walking back to the dug out and Jessica was laughing at me and I told her to stop laughing even though it was really funny
-When Bit was playing second and caught a grounder and ran and tagged the girl running to second and then looked in her mitt and no ball
-Kresta's bunts to the third basemen that for some reason got her triples every time
-The first time that Devon threw the ball to me and I thought I was going to get pinned up against the dug-out
-When Carly told me that that if she had to run more than one base there was no doubt she was going to pee a little
There are so many more I will have to think about them and post more, but for now great job PINK TEAM!!!

ABC's

This is Aurora doing her ABC's all by herself she has finally got them all down although I won't take credit for teaching her I think it was Elmo and Big bird that did the teaching. Her favorite thing to do is sing songs and she goes through phases right now she loves ABC's and "Book Of Morman Stories" 2 weeks ago it was "I'm a little teapot" oh how she makes us smile!

Boating all around town!

Trint, me, Aurora and the wind! It has been fun this year becuase my dad bought a boat from a guy here in Utah and since it was here anyway we talked him into letting us keep it here for the summer. My brother bought a new Skurf board

that you skurf right behind the boat with and that has been our new obsession besides wakeboarding of course. The last time I went I was so close to the boat that the wave behind me pushed me right up on to the back of the boat it was nice I did'nt even have to get my hair wet! It has been alot of fun so far and since we go once a week or more I have finally got some what of a tan!

Summer time Swimming!

Cousins Brooklyn & Gavin were here for the week so we went Swimming at Seven Peaks, it was a perfect day and Aurora could'nt have been happier her favorite was singing the "Tube'in" song and rid'in on the tube!

KITTY!!!....Where are you?!

Aurora is in heaven because Grandma Harris sent her a new kitty. She has been wanting one for a long time now and she finally got one and she won't put the poor thing down. It is pretty dang cute too except for the meowing part. Although it has a special high pitch meow for when Aurora is holding it by the neck or squeezing it to hard. She really loves her though and at night she has to sing her "rock-a-bye baby."
I told her she had to be in charge of feeding her and making her go potty in the box and sure enough I found her holding the kittys head in the food bowl until it would eat something and not to be sure but I'm almost positive Aurora tasted some of the kitty's food too....oh well! And if anyone has any cute names let me know!

Swimming lessons!

So I decided to do a mommy and me class with Aurora down at the city pool when I signed up there were a ton of places left that started the first week of June so I thought sweet. Well this week came and I found out why there was still so many spots available well becuase its still in the 60's and the think the water is the same temp as the air. Aurora was actually really good though she loved signing "wheels on the bus" and just did what all the other kids were doing so she is on her way to learning the breast stroke!

Weekend fun (cont.)

After laying the sod all morning Trint just had to go on a horse ride so we took a picnic up Payson canyon and relaxed for a minute and then Trint was off to spot for Elk.
Aurora had fun rid'in Ace with mom it did'nt last to long before she wanted to get off I could'nt blame her for how wide Ace is and how short Aurora is I'm sure it was'nt comfortable for her.

Weekend Fun!

Well this weekened we put our sod in and how nice it was to finally have some grass. Aurora can go outside with her shoes on for once and come back inside without having to take a bath first. We even got around to planting flowers in the flower beds to (after these pictures were taken).
It was really alot of work just kidding I did nothing but buy drinks and donuts for everyone that helped, oh and I got a roll of sod thrown at me by my Father-in-law!
What a hard working husband I have he would'nt even stop walking to pose for a picture. He has always got to be doing something.
Now this is our back yard... not quite ready for the sod. Trint is building a step down fireplace off the back porch so we have to wait until thats finished before we lay sod here.

Just a lazy sunday walk

And here are the boys, Trint was pulling Adam in the wheelchair with a tie-down it worked quite well until they decided to turn around and Adam hit the curb luckily no one was hurt... this trip at least.
This was right before she started running up a drive way and biffed it, just a couple of scraped knees was all.

As for now Adam is out of the wheelchair and on to the crutches he is doing really good and I am sure will be back to four-wheeling sooner than we know it!
